In order to continue driving our global growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Director (Denmark) to take charge of establishing our business in the specified market. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in both operational and marketing aspects, with a strong focus on providing excellent support to the team.

About the Role

As the Country Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to surpass company objectives and targets at the market level. This includes developing the market strategy, product, customer acquisition, and retention, while also managing P&L, building relationships, seeking marketing and partner opportunities, and providing feedback to product and marketing teams based on your market knowledge. The role may require partial relocation and frequent travel.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company's strategic plan within the region, in line with the overall company objectives
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodies
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements within the region
Develop and manage budgets and financial targets for the region, ensuring that revenue and profit targets are met or exceeded
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and threats
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition within the region
Work closely with other departments such as Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Product to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to business operations
Build strong relationships with third-party digital brands to increase brand partnership opportunities
Interpret business and marketing data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and report back to the business with results and learnings
Demonstrated ability to optimize site and product presentation and promotion to achieve maximum player volume through targeted localization strategies informed by extensive market research and analysis
Ensure that all communication with players is in line with the local requirements
Set specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound objectives to achieve a positive return on investment (ROI) for group campaigns in alignment with business goals. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards achieving the objectives
Manage and lead a team of local managers, providing leadership and guidance in achieving operational goals
Report regularly to senior management on the performance of the region, highlighting any issues or opportunities
