Braathens is expanding!

Since spring 2023, Braathens has been flying charter routes from Scandinavia to destinations around the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, and Egypt for several tour operators such as Apollo and Ving/Spies. We are an expanding airline and see great possibilities to expand further into ACMI operations within Lufthansa Group as a partner – we are now seeking Direct Entry Captains for our Airbus fleet.

Braathens operates Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, focusing on charter flights while also flying on ACMI operations for SAS. Minimum Requirements


  • EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (A)
  • Valid Typerating on Airbus A320 Family, and/or experience on similar aircraft type
  • Minimum 4500 hours total flight time
    • Minimum of 500 Hours PIC
  • EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • ICAO English 4 or Higher
  • Right to work within EU
