As a Senior Research Analyst, you will manage research projects from planning to delivery, oversee junior analysts, and develop research methodologies. You will analyze data, refine processes, and collaborate with internal teams while handling limited client interactions.

The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, analytical expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Location: Remote (Indonesia-based)

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time (40 hours/week)



Responsibilities

  • Lead research projects with minimal supervision, managing timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
  • Develop research frameworks and methodologies that align with project objectives and data collection requirements.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using statistical modeling, triangulation, and data validation techniques.
  • Compile findings into structured reports and presentations, providing clear and actionable insights.
  • Oversee junior analysts by setting expectations, reviewing work, and maintaining research accuracy.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance research efficiency and workflow.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define research objectives and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Manage client interactions as needed, facilitating requests and participating in key discussions.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to support research development.
  • Conduct training sessions to strengthen research capabilities and analytical skills within the team.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in market research, along with a portfolio of past research work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Statistics.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple research projects independently.
  • Expertise in primary and secondary research, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with statistical tools (Excel, SPSS, or equivalent) and data visualization platforms (Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint).
  • Business acumen and industry knowledge, with an understanding of market trends and competitor dynamics.
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior analysts, reviewing their work and ensuring research quality.
  • Self-directed and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
