About the Role

As a Consultant, you will contribute to the “Designing and Implementing Investment Mobilization and Acceleration of High-Growth Circular Economy Startups” initiative in the Philippines. In this role, you will support business development, stakeholder engagement, and investment mobilization efforts to drive the success of circular economy startups.

You will work closely with IIX’s Impact Partners team, collaborating with SME associations, industry chambers, private corporations, and investors to expand IIX’s network and foster impactful partnerships. Your role will be critical in identifying high-potential startups, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting investment-readiness initiatives that accelerate their growth.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Sourcing & Engagement

· Identify and source high-growth circular economy startups in the Philippines.

· Build and maintain relationships with SME associations, industry chambers, and private corporations.

· Support the setup of an efficient enterprise onboarding process.

Business Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement

· Conduct targeted outreach to new and existing partners.

· Generate leads and arrange stakeholder meetings to facilitate investment mobilization.

· Establish connections with relevant ecosystem players to support startups.

Investment Mobilization & Acceleration Support

· Assist in structuring and implementing investment readiness support for startups.

· Work closely with IIX’s Impact Partners team to align startups with potential investors.

· Provide advisory and strategic insights to enhance the impact investment landscape.

Monitoring & Reporting

· Track progress and report key performance indicators (KPIs) on enterprise onboarding and outreach.

· Ensure timely and effective execution of activities aligned with project objectives.

· Maintain records of business development efforts and stakeholder interactions

Preferred Qualifications

· Advanced degree MBA or Masters in Economics and Finance

· A bachelors degree with extensive relevant experience

· Well connected with SME and startup ecosystem in the Philippines

· Have an understanding of the circular economy and green start ups
