Tetra Tech Inc. Disaster Recovery (TDR) is currently hiring for Disaster Recovery Administrators in western North Carolina. The Disaster Recovery Administrator is responsible for assisting disaster survivors apply for debris removal assistance programs. This includes working in a remote environment, coordinating with disaster survivors who are interested in the disaster debris program, and helping them complete an online form to apply for the program. The job requires remote work for 40 hours per week. Extended office hours and weekend shifts may be required.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Assist program applicants to complete their application accurately.
Communicate directly with program applicants to provide status on their application, answer questions related to the program, and collect documentation from program applicants to complete their application.
Communicate with program applicants in multiple formats including telephone, text, and email communication.
Document relevant notes of interactions with program applicants to progress their application.
Achieve daily production expectations and document activities to demonstrate productivity.
Maintain adherence to program standard operating procedures, Tetra Tech Remote Work Policy, and the program health and safety plan.
Communicate with supervisors for directives, work schedule, program changes, and other relevant information via email, telephone, text, Microsoft Teams, and in person.
Escalate issues following standard operating procedures.
Use Microsoft Office applications and other software to document time worked, activities completed, applicant information, and applicant interactions.
High school education or higher required.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Administration, Emergency Management, or a related field preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in community assistance, disaster recovery, case management, or social services.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work empathetically with diverse populations

Standard Schedule
This is a temporary assignment expected to last 6 months.
Work hours are 8 hours per day 5 days per week. 30 minute Lunch & 2 Fifteen Minute Breaks. This may change based on program needs.
This position is 100% remote and employees are expected to review, sign, and adhere to Tetra Tech’s remote work policy.
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an "as needed" basis and will end. It is understood that your employment is to be on an "at will" basis.
