Summary
We are currently seeking a n experienced Business Development Manager to join our EV ( Electric Vehicle) Infrastructure team . The team supports customers to design, procure , build and maint ain charging in frastructure across the country and are focused on supporting the electrification of the UK’s car s , buses and trucks.
This individual will be lead ing on business development activities, developing solutions with clients which lead to commercially viable business with new and existing customers to achieve the business growth aspirations. Focusing on public charging hubs and commercial fleets this individual will be responsible for developing and growing the business pipeline and maintaining the relationships of our key strategic clients .
This individual will be travelling (when required) to meet with potential clients across the country .
Some Of The Key Deliverables For The Role Include
- Contribute effectively as part of the work winning and operations teams, to provide valued input into each opportunity.
- To maintain an excellent relationship with wider divisional stakeholders to ensure specific client key drivers are communicated to and understood by all key stakeholders to inform the win strategy
- Work with clients to create soluti ons to support their transition to electric fleets
- Create, capture, monitor and manage a pipeline of sustainable and real opportunities to meet the strategic requirements of the business going forward through internal and external markets, competitor and customer analysis with a view to understanding client behaviour and facilitating appropriate relationships building .
- Create and maintain a customer engagement/key account management plans for new customers, including identification of client stakeholders & customer needs, to sell EV infrastructure propositions that add value to their business and maximize opportunities
- Provide and capture via CRM, up to date market intelligence, gather data on customers and competitors, and future sales pipeline data to inform monthly reporting, annual business planning and to predict future financial sales
- Implement and manage the bid selection process In line with business process and audit requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within the Construction or Electrical services industry (desirably E lectric V ehicles ).
- Established client relationships which act as an enabler for potential EV opportunities.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful commercial partnerships
- Substantial and broad business experience in business development and/or account management.
- Highly collaborative leadership style with ability to respond quickly and effectively to ever changing situations
- Demonstrable experience and ability to coach, mentor & lead a diverse staff mix to deliver best i n class service to our customers
- Demonstrable experience to build strong and trusted client relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills
