ETL Developer

Digital Placement is a staffing and recruiting company that helps businesses find talented professionals to fill their open positions in various industries.

Role and Responsibilities

The ETL Developer will be responsible for various tasks that include automation of the processes process of impact analysis, remediation-related changes, validations, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tasks and deadlines for the ETL team, getting Functional Requirement Specifications from the customer, creating high-level & low-level ETL flow designs, creating ETL protocols and database objects, and working on upgrades & system maintenance. Additionally, creating source-to-target mappings, high-level design, and detailed designing of level documents will also be expected. The ETL Developer should also have the ability to troubleshoot ETL applications, write complex SQL queries, and work independently or as part of a team.

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum work experience of 5-7 years in ETL technologies ADF, AWS Glue, DBT, Talend, etc. The candidate should have at least 3 years experience in DBT, 2 years experience in Snowflake and/or Redshift. Hands-on experience in cloud technologies such as Google, Azure, and AWS is necessary, with AWS Cloud being preferred. The candidate should have experience in Data Migration Projects, strong experience in building SnowSQL queries, and GitHub - CI/CD process. They should be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
