This role involves advanced troubleshooting, system upgrades, and the implementation of new technologies to support business operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • System Maintenance and Support: Monitors, maintains, and supports servers, and other IT infrastructure components to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Security Management: Assists in setting up security measures, including antivirus solutions, to protect company data and IT infrastructure.
  • System Upgrades: Plans and executes system upgrades, patches, and installations to keep the IT environment up-to-date and secure.
  • Backup and Recovery: Manages backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Documentation: Maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • User Support: Provides advanced technical support to end-users and assist with IT-related inquiries and issues.
  • Project Management: Leads or participates in IT related projects, including the deployment of new technologies and systems.

Qualifications

:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):
  • Education and Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows server environments, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
