In 1965, Intel’s co-founder Gordon Moore made a prediction that would become the famous Moore’s Law—the number of transistors in an integrated circuit would double every two years, driving exponential advances in computing power. This simple observation shaped the technology industry for decades, illustrating how relentless curiosity and long-term thinking can create seismic shifts in the world.
At Mercury, we channel a similar curiosity and long-term mindset into the world of banking and financial systems. Our goal is to build the financial stack ambitious companies use to operate—from banking to bill pay to forecasting—and everything in between. To help us grow and make smart bets, our Corporate Development team is looking for a Corporate Development Intern to join us for the summer.
As a Corporate Development Intern, you’ll work with Mercury’s Head of Corporate Development to support a wide range of initiatives that help Mercury identify, evaluate, and execute on strategic and financial opportunities. This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role, providing exposure to senior leaders and critical business decisions.
[This internship is a 12-16 week, full-time, paid opportunity running between May and September 2025] with potential to continue part-time during studies. Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate-level academic program (MBA, JD, or other relevant advanced degrees) at the time of application.
*Mercury is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided by Choice Financial Group, Column N.A. and Evolve Bank & Trust, Members FDIC
