Job description

Role: System Engineer
Tech Stack: Linux, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, IaC tools, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
Modality: Remote, full time


At Zarego, we specialize in software architecture and custom web and mobile app development. With over a decade of expertise, we deliver bold, innovative solutions for clients of all sizes, from visionary startups to multinational companies.

We are seeking an experienced and talented System Engineer to join our team.

Requirements:

  • Seniority: Senior, 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience working with Linux systems (networking, shell/bash scripting, system calls, etc.)
  • System Development skills (Python, C/C++, Golang, Java, Rust)
  • Proficiency in Python or any of the above-mentioned.
  • System integration skills (HTTPS protocols, Kerberos, API programming)
  • Experience designing and maintaining secure APIs
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration systems (Kubernetes is preferred) and cluster management tools (such us Slurm, k9s, Lens)
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman)
  • Experience with IaC technologies (such as Helm, Terraform and Ansible) and with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD (Gitlab is preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • English: Advanced level
  • Spanish is a plus!
