Job description

At Kardex, we are on an exciting transformational journey to harmonize and enhance our global end-to-end processes — improving how we work across all regions, functions, and touchpoints. Central to this transformation is NorthStar, our global program designed to drive operational and organizational excellence, turning Kardex into a high-performance, digital-first organization with seamless, integrated processes.

We are now looking for an experienced and visionary Global End-to-End Process Owner for Order to Cash (O2C) to lead the global design, harmonization, and optimization of this critical process across all Kardex regions and business functions.

Your tasks

  • Lead the global Order to Cash (O2C) process — from customer order through to delivery, invoicing, and cash collection.
  • Collaborate with regional teams, factories, service operations, and leadership to standardize processes, ensuring efficiency without compromising local compliance needs.
  • Own the relationship with our systems integrator, ensuring process requirements translate into clear system design and ERP functionality (SAP S/4HANA is on the horizon!).
  • Ensure the seamless integration between ERP, MES, CRM, Field Service Management, and Project Systems so data flows consistently across the value chain.
  • Build and maintain global process maps, sub-process flows, work instructions, and cross-functional handovers — ensuring everyone understands their role in delivering a smooth Order to Cash process.
  • Define performance KPIs, track progress, and continuously seek process improvements to optimize both customer experience and internal efficiency.
  • Act as the global process champion, working with regional teams to drive adoption, support training, and embed a process excellence culture across Kardex.
  • Collaborate closely with other Global Process Owners to ensure end-to-end process integration across the entire customer lifecycle.

What we offer

  • The chance to shape and influence Kardex’s global transformation journey.
  • A high-impact, strategic role with visibility at the executive level.
  • Collaboration across regions, functions, and cultures, building global processes that directly impact our customers and employees.
  • A dynamic, supportive environment where your ideas and expertise will help shape the future of Kardex.

Your profile

    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing environments, with leadership expertise in Order to Cash processes — including order entry, invoicing, and cash collection.
    • Experience driving process excellence in global, matrix organizations with multi-plant manufacturing, international delivery, and cross-border invoicing requirements.
    • Previous involvement in global ERP implementations, ideally SAP ECC or S/4HANA, working alongside systems integrators to shape and optimize process-aligned solutions.
    • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, comfortable working with commercial, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and service teams across regions.
    • A process-driven mindset paired with practical, real-world problem-solving skills. Knowledge of product/systems realization is an advantage
    • Ability to bridge operational, technical, and financial conversations — making complex processes accessible to diverse audiences.
    • Fluent English (German or other European languages are a plus).
    • Flexibility for international travel.
