Your Role

As a Data Engineer at Formula5, you'll be a key player in:

Designing and Building Data Pipelines: You'll craft robust and scalable data pipelines using modern ELT tools and best practices.
Data Curation and Preparation: Ensure high-quality data sets are ready for consumption by both business users and analysts.
Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts and scientists to transform data into actionable insights.
Performance Optimization: Fine-tune data processes for efficiency and speed.
Modern Principles: Apply data mesh principles to ensure data agility and quality.
Staying Ahead: Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

Your Skills and Experience

Essential:

1-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Proven proficiency in SQL and Python.
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, especially Azure data components (or similar enterprise-grade ELT/big data solutions).
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
You need to be able to work in English language working environment.
You need to be comfortable to work afternoon hours with us and our clients in US.
Polish and English language comfortable in communication is a must.

Preferred:

Experience with big data technologies like Data Lake, Delta Lake, Spark, or Hadoop.
Familiarity with various ETL tools.
Expertise in data modeling and schema design.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
