Job description

About the Company:

ArcSite pioneers innovative drawing, estimating, and takeoff solutions for the construction industry. We enhance construction professionals' efficiency and productivity through technology that works seamlessly on mobile devices and laptops—without the steep learning curve of traditional CAD applications. Our software helps businesses close deals faster and save hours weekly by streamlining quotes and takeoff reports. Our dynamic team is committed to making CAD accessible worldwide. We're innovative professionals dedicated to transforming our customers' design experiences.

About the Role:

The Director of Business Development holds responsibility for managing and growing ArcSite’s partnership ecosystem and all associated revenue streams.  While reporting into the VP of Operations, this role will oversee relationships across a diverse portfolio of partners, including but not limited to major manufacturers, established franchises, influential trade associations, strategic buying groups, industry thought leaders and influencers and CRM platform providers.

This pivotal position is structured around two strategic objectives: the primary focus centers on driving substantial revenue growth and ARR through the cultivation and optimization of partnership opportunities, while the secondary emphasis lies in strategically expanding ArcSite’s market presence and industry footprint through our network of integration partners and strategic alliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete partnership life cycle from prospecting through negotiation, execution and growth.
  • Drive revenue and ARR by developing new partnerships and expanding existing ones.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to implement and scale partnership initiatives.
  • Attend industry conferences and conduct partner/prospect meetings as required.
  • Develop and execute partnership strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Negotiate and structure complex partnership agreements and revenue-sharing models.
  • Monitor partnership performance and provide regular reporting on key metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience leading partnership and business development functions.
  • Track record of successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Extensive network and experience in home services industries (including fencing, decking, pest control, foundation repair, and/or basement waterproofing) is strongly preferred.
  • Proven strategic thinking abilities are essential, with demonstrated capacity for developing comprehensive partnership strategies and identifying emerging market opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience overseeing third party SAAS integration partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for partner meetings and industry events.
  • Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial drive.
  • Must demonstrate adaptability—we're often pioneering new approaches across different industries.

Benefits

  • Unlimited PTO
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Vested 401K match as of start date
  • $75 monthly wellness stipend
