As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a VP of Marketing to drive growth, build brand affinity, and expand our market leadership. This role requires a strategic and data-driven leader who can balance performance marketing with brand storytelling, customer insights, and lifecycle engagement to accelerate revenue growth.
The VP of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that fuels customer acquisition, penetration and awareness. This leader will oversee all aspects of marketing, including performance marketing, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, PR, content, and partnerships.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of scaling DTC brands, is well-versed in digital growth levers, and can blend data-driven decision-making with creative storytelling. They should also have experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams, working cross-functionally with product and sales, and optimizing full-funnel marketing.
Key Responsibilities - GROWTH & ACQUISITION MARKETING:Own the customer acquisition strategy across paid media (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.), organic, email/SMS, referral programs Optimize marketing spend to maximize efficiency (CAC vs. LTV) while scaling customer acquisition.Implement rigorous testing frameworks (A/B, incrementality testing, etc.) to improve performance across channels.Partner with product and analytics teams to improve conversion rates (CRO).LIFECYCLE MARKETING:Lead email, SMS, and CRM efforts to drive engagement, purchase, and referrals.Create and optimize nurture flows that guide customers from initial interest to project completion.Partner with product and sales teams to improve customer experience and retention.PRODUCT MARKETING:Develop compelling narratives that resonate with our target customers and differentiate Yardzen in the market.Oversee content strategy, PR, influencer partnerships, and organic social to deepen brand affinity.PARTNERSHIPS & COMMUNITY:Identify and cultivate strategic brand partnerships that amplify Yardzen’s reach.Develop co-marketing initiatives with key industry players and home improvement brands.Engage with the Yardzen community to drive advocacy and word-of-mouth growth.TEAM LEADERSHIP & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team.Collaborate with sales, product, design, and operations teams to drive business goals.Own marketing KPIs, forecasting, and reporting to inform executive decision-making.
