Overview:

The Director of New Account Transitions for People and Culture will be responsible for leading new client integrations from due diligence to onboarding. You will report to the VP of HR and will oversee HR due diligence across venue management, parking and hospitality transitions.  This position will lead the HR workstream for all assigned due diligence and integration work and ensure that initiatives are completed within project timelines in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders. This position will oversee a team directly (1) and dotted line (3). This role will be remote with a high level of travel.

 

This role pays an annual salary of $140,000 to $170,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead overall HR due diligence and program management to facilitate successful completion of M&A integration projects.
  • Represent the People and Culture team during bids and responding to RFP’s in coordination with the VP of HR. Responsible for research into local markets, understanding demographics, employment trends and community outreach opportunities.
  • Constant communication between Business Development and Corp P&C team on new accounts, will sit on multiple weekly BD calls.
  • Acts as voice for People and Culture to the Business Development team, identifying and communicating risks to RVP/SVP on timelines, talent and processes.   
  • Perform cultural assessments to understand how to partner with HRBP team to create engagement plan that results in successful integration and ongoing assimilation after go-live date.
  • Partner with Compensation Team to assess current employee pay and job FLSA status recommendations.
  • Drive successful execution against deal milestones by tracking milestones and holding cross HR functional leads accountable for execution of deliverables.
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, HR functional leadership, M&A team, finance team, tech team, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that key risks related to employees are identified and mitigated and that a thoughtful integration plan is created and executed
  • Maintain project plan for onboarding, continuously updating and scaling the onboarding document with templates, forms or SOP’s.
  • Prepare and provide periodic updates to senior HR leadership team regarding progress for status and make recommendations for updating HR integration SOPs and playbook as appropriate
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Organization Development, Labor Studies or related major
  • 7+ years HR experience,  preferably in live entertainment industry,
  • 5+ years of experience with due diligence and mergers and acquisition integration
  • Ability to set expectations with senior leaders, professionally pushing back and educating functions on process.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing and often ambiguous environment
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
  • Travel expectations will vary but could be up to 50% of the time.
