Your mission as a (Senior) Client Relations Manager FMCG

Appinio is looking for a highly driven and passionate Senior Client Relations Manager to join our team and work closely with our FMCG industry lead. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers regarding the importance and potential of market research, innovation, and consumer centricity.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with companies in the FMCG sector. You will showcase the potential of Appinio's capabilities and develop a mutually beneficial commercial framework with stakeholders in the FMCG industry.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will drive growth by developing and owning the growth strategy for your FMCG categories, you will work on the end to end sales funnel acquiring new customers and coaching them on market research solutions using Appinio’s platform
  • You will build relationships and represent Appinio to marketing and insights leaders, creating trust and building a strong network within the FMCG industry
  • You will expand reach by representing Appinio at trade fairs and speaking events, leveraging and growing your professional connections to drive business growth
  • You will create opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to strengthen Appinio’s position as a leading research firm in FMCG
  • You will understand the market and act as the voice of our customers, addressing their needs, monitoring competitors, and identifying growth opportunities
  • You will collaborate and work closely with Customer Success and Marketing teams to ensure client success and maximise growth opportunities
  • You will lead with expertise and become a trusted thought leader, helping brands grow and making market research more accessible in the FMCG industry

You will thrive in this role if

  • You have 5+ years of relevant commercial sales experience
  • You have experience in B2B sales, in the market research or FMCG industry
  • You have experience leveraging data and have a consultative approach with clients
  • You have excellent proficiency in German and communication skills in English
  • You are proficient in working with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Hubspot
  • You are an empathetic nature with a keen sense for understanding the needs of others
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and consider yourself a problem-
