Job Description
COMC is looking to hire a Content Creator. This person will create highly engaging text, images, and video across a variety of platforms, including social media, email marketing, and websites. The Content Creator is an individual contributor reporting to the Creative Designer & Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a highly creative individual with a strong ability to tap into emerging trends, cut through noise to capture the attention of audiences, and inspire them to action.

Job Responsibilities
•    Create compelling content, including text, graphics, and videos, across multiple platforms, including social media, email, blog posts, and print collateral.  
•    Collaborate with content and growth marketing teams to ensure that content assets align with brand goals and campaign strategies.  
•    Write engaging content that aligns with COMC’s brand voice and inspires audiences to take action. 
•    Create visually appealing graphics and images for email marketing, social media, and websites. 
•    Capture and edit original photo and video content.  
•    Conduct interviews with customers for testimonials and other content features. 
•    Conduct keyword research and align content with SEO best practices. 
•    Analyze website analytics to measure resonance and success of content.
•    Uphold COMC values, quality standards, and exemplify C.A.R.D. culture.
•    Be a willing and collaborative partner to support all areas of the organization.
•    Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications

Job Qualifications 
•    At least 2-5 years of experience in a Content Creator or similar role.
•    High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field of study is preferred.
•    Expert knowledge of Instagram, X, Tik Tok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms as well as social media best practices.
•    Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability factors.
•    Excellent brand copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to write persuasive and compelling copy that entertains audiences and drives them to action.
•    Intermediate design skills, with the ability to manipulate templates within Canva to produce aesthetically pleasing graphic content.
•    Experience using video editing software and apps (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
•    Ability to capture high-quality photos and video at live events.
•    Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) (e.g. WordPress), email marketing platforms (e.g. MailChimp), SEO tools (e.g. Semrush), and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
•    Ability to move quickly and switch gears in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining an exceptional attention to detail. 
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Qualifications
•    Experience with or interested in learning about the trading card industry.
•    Knowledgeable about professional sporting industry (NBA, NFL, MLB, including Hockey and Soccer etc.) 
•    Knowledge in the non-sports card industry (Marvel, Entertainment, Trading Card Games, Pop Culture).
