👀About the role
They are seeking a Fullstack Engineer with experience in React, React Native, and AWS. The primary focus will be on developing and launching web, desktop, and mobile applications. The engineer will ensure that the components and overall applications are robust and easy to maintain. Coordination with the rest of the team will be essential to ensure efficient delivery. A strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving, advanced design, and high-quality product development is crucial.
The founders have been working on this project for a year, and you would be joining a small but passionate, early-stage team, so they are looking for someone with both technical expertise and a strong business mindset.
💜 Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with a small, passionate all-star team to bring the first versions of our web, desktop, and mobile apps to life.
- Own the development of robust, high-performing features that work flawlessly across all platforms and devices.
- Dive into cutting-edge AI APIs (e.g., Whisper and ElevenLabs) to integrate innovative AI features that elevate the product.
- Take full responsibility for app performance—optimize, test, and continuously improve for the best user experience.
- Maintain a clean, scalable, and easy-to-understand codebase that ensures long-term product stability.
- Work directly with the founders, influencing both technical decisions and product direction with a business-first mindset, balancing technical excellence with user needs and project goals.
👉 Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience using React, React Native and AWS
- Experience as founding Engineer or working with early stage product start-ups to understand the start-up environment and challenges
- Advanced English level to work with a US based team
- A great understanding of the web, desktop and mobile app development lifecycle.
- Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs.
- Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
- Willingness to learn and do anything within your ability to make sure the team succeeds.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable in uncertain situations. Approachable, kind, and respectful in all interactions. Confident in your opinions but open-minded, able to present your ideas passionately while fully supporting the team’s final decisions.
