The Role

Looking for professionals with strong analytical and market research skills to evaluate market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities, delivering actionable insights and clear recommendations to support private equity investment decisions.

  • Collaborate with the Project Lead to align the due diligence efforts with PE clients’ investment theses and strategic objectives
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to rapidly assess industry dynamics and trends, competitive landscapes and growth opportunities for target companies
  • Lead interviews and surveys with industry experts, customers and stakeholders to gather qualitative insights
  • Develop detailed market and financial models and forecasts to support investment decisions and assess business performance
  • Evaluate the commercial viability and long-term growth potential of target companies taking into account market, competitor and customer dynamics and performance
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and articulate findings and key recommendations through a clear storyline highlighting potential opportunities and risks
  • Guide junior project members, ensuring the delivery of accurate, high quality and timely analysis
  • Liaise and collaborate with key external stakeholders including target company management teams and other professional advisors

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience delivering commercial due diligence assignments to private equity clients
  • Strong analytical, investigative and problem solving skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex quantitative and qualitative data
  • Proficiency in market modeling, market analysis, and business plan evaluation techniques
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and experience in delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines
  • Experience in digital marketing and knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools and analysis desirable but not essential
