This is a remote position.

Paid hours per week: 45 hours
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM | New Jersey (Eastern Standard Time)

Job Description

Dive into the exciting world of hospitality finance as a remote Bookkeeper. You’ll leverage your QuickBooks Online expertise to manage financial records for diverse US hospitality clients. This role offers a unique blend of financial acumen and industry-specific knowledge, allowing you to provide valuable insights that drive business success. You’ll work with a variety of clients, from boutique hotels to restaurant chains, gaining broad exposure to the US hospitality sector.


POSITION DETAILS:


  • Publish financial statements on time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
  • This is a remote position during Hawaii business hours (potential to be more flexible after a certain period)
  • Oversee onboarding new clients



Requirements

Candidate requirements:


  • Hands-on experience with accounting software QuickBooks or similar (preferred)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with financial statements, cash flow, balance sheets and general ledger functions
  • Strong financial analysis, critical thinking, and financial software skills
  • Experience working with international (US based preferred) companies
  • English language required
