The Federal Market is Mark43’s fastest growing vertical.  2024 was a record year for Mark43’s Federal team and we are looking for a Vice President of Federal Markets to join our leadership team and build upon our momentum. This executive role will continue to drive Mark43’s market share and strong relationships with federal government public safety leaders. 

What You’ll Do: 

As the Vice President of Federal Markets, you will oversee the development and execution of Mark43’s growth strategy within the federal market.  Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading Market Expansion: As the only FedRAMP High LE CAD and RMS solution in this role you will be focused on continuing to develop Mark43’s federal market strategy, identifying new opportunities, building relationships, to driving market penetration and revenue across federal.  
  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of account executives, ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies that build lasting relationships with customers and partners. Utilize your network of government contacts to accelerate sales cycles and expand Mark43’s footprint. 
  • Internal Partnership Development: Collaborate closely with Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering, Professional Services and Marketing to understand customer needs and translating those needs into tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and successful outcomes. Partner with Marketing ato craft go-to-market strategies that include systems integrators, cloud providers, resellers, and other strategic partners. 
  • Sales Process Excellence: Apply industry best practices, including the MEDDPIC methodology, to develop close plans for existing opportunities, consistently hitting and exceeding quarterly sales targets. 
  • Consultative Selling & Relationship Management: Leverage your extensive experience and consultative selling techniques to nurture and grow long-term relationships with key government stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, system integrators, and technology partners. 
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Demonstrate resilience by proactively identifying and solving challenges in an evolving market landscape, ensuring Mark43 remains agile and adaptable to changing customer needs and industry trends. 

What You’ll Need: 

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Vice President with a proven track record of selling technology solutions to government customers. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who possess: 

  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years of experience selling technology solutions to Federal government clients is required.  Experience in Federal Law Enforcement is  highly preferred. 
  • Established Network: A strong network of government contacts within federal law enforcement agencies.  
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and developing high-performance sales teams, with a focus on mentorship, guidance, and strategic thinking to drive success in competitive and evolving markets. 
  • Consultative Selling Expertise: Proven success in consultative selling methodologies, with the ability to identify customer needs, craft tailored solutions, and guide customers through complex purchasing processes. 
  • Go-To-Market Strategy Development: Expertise in creating and executing go-to-market strategies with key stakeholders including systems integrators, resellers, cloud providers, and other strategic partners. 
  • Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset that fosters strong internal and external partnerships. You should be an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 
  • Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in challenging and uncertain environments. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and adept at finding innovative solutions to complex problems.
