Job description

This is a remote position.

Night Shift Schedule:

Monday to Thursday - 8:45am to 5pm New York Time (8:45pm - 5am Manila Time)
Friday - 8:45am to 3:45pm New York Time (8:45pm - 3:45am Manila Time)


Assist the BHE management team with 360-degree birds-eye view of each client’s account and
a clear understanding of the client's growth. Bring creativity and excellence at problem-solving.
Meet responsibilities while thriving on challenges, bringing fresh ideas and finding innovative
solutions.

  • Search on insurance and Medicaid sites for forms and information needed, update any process or documents in our system
  • Prepare enrollment forms to enroll groups and providers with given carriers
  • Stay aware of schedules and to-dos of the provider enrollment team and confirm they are on track 
  • Gather predesignated information from various MBH teams pertaining to given account
  • Communicate with insurance carriers for clarification needs and follow-ups
  • Communicate with healthcare providers
  • Read and discern extensive payor guidelines by state to incorporate in code setup
  • Review billing codes to ensure adherence to payor guidelines
  • Prepare info as needed before meetings: daily, weekly, and as needed 
  • Address and set up to-do outcomes of meetings; follow up as needed
  • Prepare summary and client response emails
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be familiar with medical terminology, CPT codes and insurance policies
  • Detail-orientated with above-average organizational skills
  • Able to plan and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Excellent reading comprehension
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word
  • Thorough understanding of navigating the internet
  • Professional writing skills required
  • 4-year college degree
  • Meet responsibilities while thriving on challenges, bringing fresh ideas to the table and finding innovative solutions.
  • Two years experience in US-based medical billing practice or
  • Two years experience in a medical practice dealing with billing including but not limited to, provider credentialing, authorizations, reimbursement, etc. preferably at least partially in Behavioral Health
