Job description

Job responsibilities
  • You will contribute to the design of the end-to-end customer journey, from customer vision and product strategy through to the development of product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with small, cross-functional teams to create a wide range of experience design deliverables including journey maps, service blueprints, roadmaps, prototypes, and design systems.
  • You will facilitate workshops, develop unique design strategies for products, and take part in making strategic decisions at the portfolio level.
  • You will contribute to planning and measuring business outcomes and customer metrics across the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Identify and develop customer hypotheses in collaboration with both Thoughtworkers and our clients, to run product experiments and customer tests.
  • Balance client and Thoughtworker expectations by clearly communicating business outcomes and customer value.
  • Extend your expertise to teammates by supporting less-experienced designers when possible.
  • Advocate the value of experience design to the broader community outside of Thoughtworks, speaking at conferences, webinars, meetups, and more.
Job qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Advanced/Fluent Spanish level is required.
  • Proficiency in agile design and design systems.
  •  Knowledge of digital product design and Figma.
  • The flows and information architecture of the proposal.
  • Testing prototypes with users/stakeholders.
  • Work with visual designers to build screens.
  • It's a nice to have: strategic thinking and ability to prioritize, works autonomously, improves design processes.
  • You have a proven track record in product and experience design with skills in user research, service design, digital product design, interface design, and product strategy.
  • You’re comfortable leading and advising discovery and research activities for digital products and services, employing different methods and metrics to communicate customer and business value.
  • You're an experienced storyteller able to clearly present your research methods, insights, and findings to your stakeholders.
Professional Skills
  • You’re comfortable sharing design and research deliverables with your business stakeholders.
  • You collaborate effectively within your team whilst having a wider influence with your clients and Thoughtworks.
  • Clear and effective communicator, capable of defining roles, setting expectations and fostering confidence within your team.
  • You understand the importance of stakeholder management and can easily liaise between clients and other key stakeholders throughout projects, ensuring buy-in and gaining trust along the way.
  • A passion for contributing to the growing experience design community at Thoughtworks through peer reviews, sharing skills and capabilities, and ensuring consistency in the quality of design.
