Job Summary As a key member of a dynamic team dedicated to helping customers optimize their service supply chains, the Planner II plays a crucial role in supporting Software as a Service (SaaS) customers, driving value for Planning as a Service (PaaS) customers, and driving the achievement of their supply chain objectives. By leveraging Baxter Planning’s planning software and solutions, planners work to streamline and automate complex global service supply chain networks. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, fostering relationships with the team and customers while driving operational excellence and customer success. This role provides valuable experience that can serve as a foundation for growth into other positions within the company.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the account lead for assigned Software as a Service (SaaS) or Planning as a Service (PaaS) customer accounts and ensure they receive exceptional value from planning solutions delivered by Baxter Planning.
This includes:
Ensure customer success by identifying continuous improvement opportunities using Baxter Planning’s Best Practice Scorecard and aligning with customer supply chain objectives.
Lead and manage strategic projects to optimize inventory levels and improve service levels.
Prepare and lead meetings with assigned customer accounts.
Analyze and interpret complex data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Resolve escalated issues and provide solutions to assigned customers.
Collaborate with customers to implement improvement recommendations by adjusting business processes or configuration changes to the planning tool.
Develop Business Review presentations for customer senior and executive management, highlighting progress on supply chain objectives and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Educate and guide new customers on the effective use of planning solution Best Practices and conduct training sessions either on-site or remotely.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, improve, and implement Best Practices ensuring their adoption across the customer user base.
Assist in implementations and testing new features and functionality.
Serve as an escalation point for Service Desk tickets, handle advanced tickets for assigned customers, and support and mentor Planner Is.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, MIS, Industrial Distribution, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning or a related role.
Proficiency in supply chain planning software and tools
Experience with BaxterProphet is preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills to influence and support customer contacts
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams that are passionate about delivering value to customers
Excellent project management and prioritization skills
The ability to handle challenging tasks in a high-pressure environment where outcomes can significantly impact customers financially.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze data and configure software solutions, including advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc.).
Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to reviewing processes and identifying improved methods for supporting customers and optimizing supply chains.
This job is located in India, initially will be India hours, but will transition to EMEA hours after training period is over.
