Manage invoicing, payments, and the coordination of project-related financial expenses.
Update and maintain the employee handbook and company policies and procedures.
Ensure the company remains compliant with relevant industry regulations, including maintaining certifications and insurance.
Handle general correspondence with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Provide administrative support for contract management, including preparing and reviewing contract documents.
Support company leadership with various tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in HR, payroll, and financial administration.
Strong understanding of payroll processing, accounting software (QuickBooks preferred), and HR best practices.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
Strong experience with remote work tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Drive, etc.).
Prior experience in the construction industry or small business is a huge plus but not required.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
