What You Will Do?

The Partner, Lead Solution Architect, Health Managed Services will have accountability for driving a successful solution and capture process for strategic opportunities, and will be responsible for leading a team of solution architects and financial modelers who support all Guidehouse Health Managed Services pursuits.

The ideal candidate will have led a solutions function in revenue cycle outsourcing, successfully secured large, complex new business pursuits, and has the ability to work collaboratively with client and internal stakeholders to shape complex opportunities. He/she must be proficient in shaping global deal structures in revenue cycle operations for hospitals and physician groups.

This role will be growth oriented, and will develop solutions by partnering with clients and internal stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

  • Act as an enterprise solution architect for strategic pursuits, engaging with clients and internal stakeholders to develop to ensure that solutions align with client value propositions and Guidehouse commercial objectives and delivery capabilities.
  • Lead team of solution architects and deal financial modeling team to support entire portfolio of new opportunities and pursuits. Ensure appropriate coverage for new opportunities and the development of viable solutions for all opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and/or Payor Provider teammates to support the completion of all activities related to Client Solution Development that includes scope, pricing, developing collateral and managing our internal sales capture processes.
  • Work effectively in a matrixed organization, leading, facilitating, and program managing all efforts with aligned departments
  • Participate in win theme discussions for new opportunities.
  • Drive internal processes to develop a consistent, client focused delivery model, opportunity templates, financial models, and capture process workflow. Develop a point of view on cost to serve for different types of work.
  • Represent what we can deliver and produce accurate messaging to our prospective clients and the market at large
  • Provide strategic recommendations direction regarding future product investments and solutions for GMS

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all new opportunities adhere to the Guidehouse process for internal gate reviews and transition of new won work to operations
  • Lead team of solution architects and financial modelers.
  • Own the overall process and outcomes of the development of solution documents for all client opportunities
  • Work closely with operations, business development, contracting, pricing, advisory and all other implicated areas of Guidehouse to produce the strongest deliverables
  • Keep current with the strategic direction of Guidehouse, our offerings and the needs of our customers
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies that will impact the Health Managed Services landscape.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Healthcare, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience within complex, technologically and service driven organizations 
  • Demonstrated YOY track record and expertise in solutioning and winning large provider healthcare revenue cycle opportunities.
  • Experience leading large business operations programs for healthcare revenue cycle management
  • 5+ yrs. of experience leading a team of solution architects to put together operating and financial models that have resulted in winning profitable deals.
  • Requires ability to negotiate and compromise, and ability to communicate and influence senior executive leadership
  • Ability to travel as needed

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Preference will be given to those that live with 50 miles of a Guidehouse Office
  • Master’s Degree preferred
