Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for National support to the Center Insights Team by providing resources and compliant solutions that will deliver practical solutions that allow centers to provide therapy while laying the foundation for center standards to achieve safe, compliant, and consistent outcomes:
Manage Workers' Compensation Program Including
Oversee case intake, file incident reports and claims, and document investigations to expedite settlements
Collaborate with ABC teammates (Operations, Clinical Managers, Project Managers) to gather necessary case information.
Safeguard personal information during claim processing
Facilitate safe and timely return-to-work, coordinating with insurance representatives, medical staff, and attorneys.
Clarify work restrictions by consulting medical providers and HRBPs.
Monitor and reduce Experience Modification Rating (EMR) liabilities.
Collaborate with leadership and vendors to assess potential claim settlements.
Communicate case status and relevant information to involved parties (e.g. hearings, outcomes, return-to-work status).
Prepare coverage analysis and reports for leadership.
Report potential fraud and suggest Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) or surveillance, tracking subrogation opportunities.
Establish consistent processes for recording, investigating, and reporting claims, ensuring legal compliance.
Educate teammates on workers’ compensation procedures and policies.
Manage Employee/Teammate Safety Programs Including
Conduct safety meetings and audits to ensure compliance, assess performance, identify corrective actions, and follow up to achieve
Plan, implement and manage environmental safety and health programs to support compliance and risk mitigation at ABC.
Recommend and implement changes to address non-compliant procedures and practices
Compile and present regular monthly reports on internal and external audit results to department leadership.
Apply effective solutions in partnership with operations teams within budget.
Analyze safety data to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions
Foster a strong safety culture through teammate engagement and proactive behaviors.
Monitor safety metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least ten years related experience with facilities, workers compensation, safety, emergency response.
Prior experience responsible for internal reviews of workers compensation claims.
Understanding of workers compensation statutes across all States.
Required Skills And Abilities
Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable workers’ compensation laws, procedures, and regulations.
Ability to apply center standards and OSHA regulations in a practical manner.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Collaborates effectively with others to drive improvement.

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to travel nationally to centers to provide training and support.
