The Manufacturing and Distribution Client Engagement – Director at Argano, is responsible for leading client relationship management, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving growth through strategic engagement initiatives. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of high-value clients, leading a team of engagement managers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. The Senior Director plays a key role in shaping both internal organizational and external client strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of client projects.
Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and solutions.
Drive business growth by identifying market trends, opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
Collaborate with the Sales team to contribute to the development of proposals and pitches.
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Lead and mentor a team of Senior and Engagement Managers, fostering a culture of excellence.
Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and best practices.
Play a key role in shaping and executing the company's overall engagement strategy.
Education
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field expected.
MBA or relevant master's degree, advanced degree preferred.
Experience
12-15 years in client engagement or account management roles.
Proven track record of managing large, complex client accounts.
Experience in a leadership role, with a focus on team development and performance management.
Background in business and technology services preferred.

Sales Support: Support the sales process, including proposal development and presentations. Assist in achieving sales targets.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Update clients on project progress and address concerns.
Project Coordination Skills: Assist in project planning and scheduling. Work closely with the delivery team to ensure project success. A Project Leadership Team (PLT) member assisting in driving project execution.
Leadership and Management Skills: Program management - The ability to manage differing aspects of execution regarding the sales process, project starts, project execution, project endings, and client care. Team management and knowledge of group dynamics are especially important within this role.
Adaptability: Flexibility and a willingness to learn about different industries and client needs are important in this role.
Client Management Skills: Lead client engagement efforts, understanding and aligning with client objectives. Identify opportunities for additional services and revenue growth. Resolve client issues and concerns promptly.
Sales and Revenue: Ability to collaborate with sales teams to develop business opportunities. Prepare and present compelling proposals to clients.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Mentoring and Human resource Acumen: Understand the differences between management and leadership while applying said knowledge to developing direct reports in both technical and soft skills required to complete their tasks within client engagement with excellence.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with Argano’s technology solutions and services. Knowledge of ERP, CRM systems and client engagement tools. Understanding data analysis and reporting.
Business Acumen: Varied experience within differing industries relevant to Argano, Solid grasp of business operations and financial principles. Experience in budget management and financial forecasting. Capability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
