Summary:

The Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing the nurturing relationships with key clients. This person will help ensure the Sales/Marketing departments have all the tools, resources, and systems to achieve sales revenue targets. The management of key performing indicators will be critical to enhance the understanding of the business and improve decision-making.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Understand clients' business needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.


Sales Strategy and Growth:

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall sales targets and objectives.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Communicate client feedback and market insights to relevant teams for continuous improvement.


Project Management:

  • Responsiveness: Quickly addressing customer inquiries and concerns both internal and external.
  • Excel in active listening, clear articulation, and building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and maintaining a structured schedule are essential for meeting deadlines and ensuring project success.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction with project outcomes.


Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and analyze key account performance against set KPIs.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to internal stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Associate degree or equivalent work experience. Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.


Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or

governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to

effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the

general public.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,

circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited

standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule

form.


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Proficient in MS Office.


Other Qualifications

  • Ability to build PowerPoint or other sales presentations.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong administrative, time management, crisis management skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be added to the Company’s Auto Insurance policy.
  • Must be able to travel by air and car (2 times per quarter).
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Schedule: Your regular work schedule will be approximately 40-45 hours per week. Monday through Friday, however all schedules are subject to change according to Company requirements.
