Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the operation of departments to confirm that assigned programs are completed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Take proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery.
  • Regularly communicate with customers/clients to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.
  • Ensure that customers and/or clients are regularly informed of the status of the program.
  • Regularly communicate with management regarding the program’s status and any problems or potential problems.
  • Forecast potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.

Job Description:

As a Product Manager at Itential, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing products that meet the needs of our enterprise customers. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of product development, from requirements gathering through launch and beyond. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, user experience, operations, and marketing to develop innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences and meet key business objectives. You will work with leadership in performing market research, analyzing customer feedback, and using data-driven insights to prioritize features and improvements. You will also engage with stakeholders across Itential to align on success criteria, manage project timelines, and ensure the successful launch and improvements of products that maintain Itential’s standards for quality and effectiveness. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills are essential to excel in this position.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear, compelling product strategy. Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements to create product milestones and incremental deliverables.  
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and other teams to drive product development and ensure alignment with business goals. 
  • Market and Customer Research: Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use this information to inform product decisions and improvements. 
  • Product Development and Launch: Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Coordinate product launches by working with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure a successful rollout. 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze product performance metrics to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement. Track key performance indicators and report on product success. 
  • Customer Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Act as the voice of the customer, incorporating feedback to enhance existing products and develop new ones. Foster a culture of continuous learning and product iteration. 


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 4+ years experience in product management, specifically in the areas of infrastructure, cloud computing, or related technologies. 
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure components such as servers, storage systems, databases, and networking. 
  • Familiarity with cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 
  • Knowledge of network architecture, security protocols, and virtualized environments. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related field. 
  • Demonstrated success in managing lifecycle of infrastructure products from inception through rollout and beyond. 
  • Understanding of compliance standards and regulations relevant to infrastructure management, 
  • Ability to integrate compliance requirements into the product lifecycle. 
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of infrastructure services. 
  • Experience in network engineering, customer-facing SaaS products and infrastructure automation tools.  
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
