Job description

Location: Serbia or remote work options  

Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Leave Cover) 

Duration: up to 12 months with possible prolongation 

 

We are looking for a driven and motivated HR Generalist to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage HR operations across multiple regions, including Serbia, Bulgaria, and other regions such as the UK and the USA. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance, managing benefits, and handling a variety of HR-related projects as they arise. 

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HR operations, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of HR compliance in different jurisdictions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Employee Support: Provide day-to-day HR support to employees across Serbia, Bulgaria, the UK, USA, and other regions as needed. In total of approximately 80+ employees. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, resolve HR-related issues, and offer guidance on HR policies & processes. 
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in all supported regions, including Serbia, Bulgaria, the UK, and the USA. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and ensure the company remains in compliance. 
  • Benefits Management: Oversee and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company benefits. Work with external providers to ensure efficient administration. 
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports, and assist with HR payroll input and administrative tasks as necessary. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as HR Generalist, or similar HR role, preferably with a focus on multiple regions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across cultures and regions. 
  • Strong analytical, organizational and skills. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office. 
  • Fluency in English (additional language skills in Serbian, or other relevant languages are a plus). 
  • Experience working with BambooHR is a plus.
