 As a Data Licensing specialist, you will be the strategic partner to the Regional Vice Presidents of our Sales Teams and help enable their sellers, accelerate bookings, and increase conversion rates for data licensing- all while helping our customers realize value across data licensing investments. 

This is a sales-enabling position and is based in our New York City, San Francisco office or Remote

You will: 

Lead strategic conversations in partnership with assigned account teams to map their needs to Data Licenses coupled with the following:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed to meet team goals and identify relevant opportunities

  • Develop and execute strategic vertical business initiatives

  • Be considered a thought leader in the licensing ecosystem; analyze emerging trends, develop new strategies, and share best practices with internal and external stakeholders with the mission of expanding marketplace revenue

  • Author the go-to-market playbook and drive adoption of sales enablement materials for assigned verticals

  • Help shape the product vision and priorities of our Data Marketplace by building relationships with key stakeholders and gaining alignment on product offerings

  • Build, maintain, and manage a sales pipeline so as to achieve revenue goals

  • Work with data supply partners to create pricing/rate cards, scalable workflows, alignment

  • Contribute to the broader Data Subscription business and Data Marketplace team.

  • Act as a Data Leader, demonstrating deep understanding of LiveRamp’s products and driving the adoption of third-party data

  • Partner with Commercial Leads’s and RVP’s to uncover the best data story and positioning + quantify the impact

  • Guide strategic and complex data licensing sales cycles forward

  • Support PMM, GTM, Sales Enablement with Content

  • Support ongoing training and sales enablement needs (packaging, narrative, value)

  • Manage ‘ revenue kickstarter’ projects and strategic initiatives for assigned RVP verticals

  • Contribute towards building a great company

About you:

You come with 6+ years of experience in ad tech, programmatic, identity, and/or media analytics with a deep understanding of these ecosystems, combined with the following experience and skills

  • 6+ years of experience in sales, business development in a combination of media agencies, data providers, and/or brands

  • A bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus

  • You have a “get-stuff-done mentality,” you are deeply motivated to solve complex problems, have a strong bias for action, and have a high "do-to-say" ratio.

  • A consultative approach, serving as a key advisor and partner to your clients, both internal and external

  • Proven success in driving high-stakes work (eg key accounts, strategic initiatives)

  • Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally, along with Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral

  • Experience with data licensing, email, and direct mail marketing, data appends, 3rd third-party data ecosystem experience is a big plus but not required.

  • Strong ability to analyze situations, manage expectations, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines

  • Must excel at (and ideally enjoy) delivering presentations to senior stakeholders (internal and external)

  • Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and a sense of urgency around delivering on team and individual goals. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment

  • History of developing and successfully implementing scalable solutions to complex problems within a rapidly evolving organization.

  • A hybrid of experience across sales or BD in an ad tech capacity

  • Manage multiple customer sales cycles and close effectively

  • Quickly develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners within the identified territory

  • Thrive in a high-growth company while being surrounded by people who inspire you to be better and work harder

  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with counterparts and effective relationships with counterparts at the partner

  • Super independent, driven, and self-sufficient. You need little management, only coaching and mentorship

  • Take pride in being detail-oriented, with a tenacious follow-up discipline, and are highly organized with a positive outlook

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced environment

The approximate annual base compensation range is $124,000 to $172,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
