Job Title: Global Head, Research Compliance

Function: Research Compliance

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina preferred

 

DESCRIPTION:

In partnership with Sitero leadership, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Commercial, we are searching for a proven leader to promote Sitero’s Biosafety and IRB service offerings throughout the globe. Your time will be spent driving cross functional successes in Biosafety consulting and training, IRB services and consulting, DSMB services, SCRO services, and IACUC services. If you have a passion for Research, innovation, and a strong sales acumen, this role is perfect for you!  

 

Job Overview:

  • Develop Sitero’s Go-to-market strategy for Biosafety consulting, IBC Services, IRB Services, IRB consulting, DSMB Services, SCRO services, and IACUC services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Research Compliance.
  • Lead the delivery and ensure compliance for Biosafety consulting, IBC Services, IRB Services, IRB consulting, DSMB Services, SCRO, and IACUC services.
  • Drive commercial strategies for the Research Compliance Unit.
  • Manage the Budget for the Research Compliance Unit.
  • Lead and direct the Research Compliance metrics to leadership.
  • Build and grow the Research Compliance unit to support the growth of the business.
  • Develop the operational aspects of external Research Compliance services and leverage available technology.
  • Lead Research Compliance thought leadership through the Advisory Board, white papers, and webinars.

Requirements and Qualification:

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Masters or higher education in a science related field is required
  • 10+ years of Institutional Review Board (IRB) experience is required
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative is required
  • Highly organized, can manage time and multiple priorities effectively
  • Team player. Able to take accountability and direction
  • Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
  • Strong knowledge and experience of sales databases such as Salesforce, pipelining, and cold calling to create new business
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers and to attend trade shows

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

COMMITMENTS:

  • Standard Hours 40 hours per week, one hour lunch, Monday – Friday. Additional hours as needed.
  • Willing to work in shifts as and when needed.
