Role Title

Coordinator, Life Insurance Training (North America)

Purpose of role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Life Insurance Training (NA), the Coordinator, Life Insurance Training (NA) plays a pivotal role in supporting the department by creating and maintaining technical guides, training materials, and sales concepts designed to empower Foresters sales teams and independent salesforce.

This position ensures that Foresters sales teams and independent salesforce have the tools and knowledge required to thrive. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, possesses strong project management abilities, and excels at collaboration. A technical mindset, attention to detail and accuracy, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assist and develop training content:
  • Assist in the development, delivery, and evaluation of all aspects of sales training and concepts for US & Canada Sales
  • Support and collaborate with the Senior Manager to ensure all training materials and sales concepts meet quality standards and that legal and compliance requirements are maintained and up to date
  • Gather, process, and track internal stakeholder approvals for new or updated training content
  • Assist in managing timelines and tasks related to training projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Manage the content review cycle, partnering with business SMEs and compliance counterparts where applicable
  • Coordinate the launch of new and updated training content across the business and with the marketing team to effectively promote training materials
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to keep them informed about training initiatives and gather feedback
  • Use feedback and results to continuously improve training content, delivery, and effectiveness
  • Analyze training data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Key Qualifications
  • Education (minimum required): Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience (minimum required): 1-3  year's experience creating training content and associated materials
  • Experience with life insurance products and concepts (preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience working with independent life producers (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and produce results in a timely fashion with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and specialized communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge and experience working with independent life insurance producers (preferred)
  • Life Insurance license (preferred)
