Responsibilities:
  • Manage different environments and collaborate with teams to ensure releases are in the correct environments and ready.
  • Assist in testing new functionality and debugging support tickets between releases.
  • Work with developers or super users to verify required functionality and ensure no errors occur in QA before release or during smoke testing in production.
  • Debug issues by investigating beyond error reports, querying the database for information, and analyzing errors/problems in the browser debugging environment.
  • Perform basic coding tasks in JavaScript, primarily focusing on logic and front-end work.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and key discussions during release cycles.
  • Maintain clear and current communication regarding status updates, ensuring the release process and schedule are executed effectively with the team.
  • Contribute to long-term improvements in the release process, including recommending better procedures, environment enhancements, and automation.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience of DevOps environment and processes in GIT repository setup/maintenance, code progression, and release techniques from development to QA to production. Ability to manage releases daily, including hotfixes, release management, and smoke testing, with familiarity in containerization tools like Docker.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Database status and troubleshooting using SQL. Perform basic database administration tasks, such as copying data, cycling processes, and troubleshooting database connection issues.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in a Linux environment, with the ability to document work and processes effectively.
  • 3 to 5 years in troubleshooting and debugging JavaScript within a browser environment.
