This is a remote position.

Job Description:
As VP of Product and Operations, youʼll be at the forefront of the company's mission to enable the world's most prominent merchants to scale their businesses seamlessly in South Africa and beyond. Youʼll shape product strategy, drive operational excellence, and lead complex cross-border payment solutions. Your focus will go beyond foundational growth: you will scale our operations, improve merchant success, and solidify the company's role as a key player in Africaʼs payment ecosystem. You are a strategic product and operations leader ready to scale transformative payment solutions in high-growth, complex markets.

Requirements
What it takes to succeed:
  • A strategic product and operations leader with deep experience in fintech, payments, remittance, or SaaS—ideally in high-growth or complex markets
  • 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, with a proven track record of scaling products and operations in regulated environments
  • Strong B2B and B2C product management background, cross-border payments, and merchant success optimisation
  • Expertise in global payments ecosystems, remittance networks, digital currencies, and alternative payment methods
  • Skilled in navigating multi-jurisdictional compliance frameworks and managing regulatory relationships
  • Experienced in data-driven decision-making, using analytics to improve operations, reduce costs, and enhance merchant outcomes
  • A natural leader who can build and scale high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative, transparent, and results-driven culture.
