We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance to drive the financial strategy and operations of a rapidly scaling payment orchestration company. With a strong track record of processing transactions for four years and a focus on expansion in the USA and European markets, this role is critical to supporting the company’s ambitious growth trajectory. The HoF will oversee all financial functions, ensuring financial health, compliance, and strategic alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support growth in the USA and European markets.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to align financial goals with business objectives and operational plans.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive decision-making and improve profitability.
- Oversee auditing processes and ensure tax compliance, optimizing the company’s financial position and minimizing risk while adhering to regional regulations and best practices.
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure visibility into financial performance and opportunities.
- Oversee detailed analyses of revenue streams, payment processing costs, and customer profitability metrics.
- Manage key financial KPIs to optimize revenue and operational efficiency.
Operational and Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including those specific to payment orchestration, such as PSD2 (Europe), PCI Compliant DSS, DORA, and U.S. financial reporting standards.
- Advise on legal and regulatory matters, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and Private Equity standards.
- Oversee risk management strategies, including currency fluctuations and cross-border payment complexities.
- Implement and manage robust internal controls, processes, and systems to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Capital Management and Fundraising
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the company remains financially agile.
- Support fundraising initiatives, including equity and debt financing, to fuel growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners, ensuring alignment on financial goals.
Vendor and Stakeholder Relations
- Collaborate with partnerships and product teams to manage financial relationships with payment vendors and platforms.
- Represent the company in key financial negotiations with vendors, partners, and investors.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within fintech, payments, or SaaS industries.
- Proven experience scaling companies in international markets, particularly the USA and Europe.
- Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis within a high-growth environment.
- Deep knowledge of payment ecosystems, including transaction flows, pricing models, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, PSD2, and SOX.
- Familiarity with payment orchestration and revenue optimization models.
- MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is a plus.
