We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Strategy Lead to lead the Product strategy area for a rapidly scaling Payment Orchestration company. Operating for over four years with a growing presence in the USA and European markets, we rely heavily on data-driven decision-making to enhance our services, optimize revenue, and provide value to merchants. The Data Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining data accuracy, security, and accessibility while driving insights that support our growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Continuously monitor global payment trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks.
- Analyze emerging payment methods (e.g., Open Banking, BNPL, A2A payments, crypto, real-time payments) and assess their impact on our product roadmap.
- Track key players in the payment industry (PSPs, acquirers, card networks, fintech disruptors) to benchmark our offerings.
- Synthesize market insights into data-driven recommendations for product enhancements and expansion strategies.
Product Strategy & Roadmap Development
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to define and refine our global payment orchestration strategy.
- Identify gaps and new opportunities in our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demand.
- Define go-to-market strategies for new features and payment solutions, ensuring differentiation in key markets.
- Partner with regulatory and compliance teams to anticipate and adapt to legal changes affecting payment flows.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with merchants, PSPs, and acquiring partners to gather insights on pain points and payment optimization needs.
- Act as a thought leader in the payment industry, representing the company at conferences, fintech events, and strategic meetings.
- Provide internal training and reports to leadership on key payment trends, strategic threats, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to ensure product messaging aligns with our strategic vision.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage transaction data, payment analytics, and A/B testing to validate strategic initiatives.
- Define and track KPIs for product performance and adoption in different regions.
- Work with data science and risk teams to assess the impact of payment optimization strategies on revenue growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product strategy, payments, or fintech.
- Deep understanding of global payments ecosystems, including acquiring, PSPs, card networks, and alternative payment methods.
- Experience working with payment orchestration, smart routing, or subscription-based payments.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate market trends into actionable product strategies.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, sales, compliance, and external partners.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Open Banking, Web3 payments, or AI-driven payment solutions.
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS, PSD2, DORA, GDPR, and global payment regulations.
- Background in business intelligence, market research, or competitive analysis.
- Prior experience in a fast-growing fintech or payment provider.
