Job description

We have been retained by an established, multi-state real estate and creditors' rights law firm and are seeking a qualified associate attorney to support its Missouri practice. This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package based on experience. This is a fully REMOTE opportunity as long as you are a member in good standing of the MO Bar Assoc.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar, with the ability to obtain a license in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts promptly.
  • While applications are welcomed from newly licensed attorneys, a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience is preferred.
  • The candidate should be able and willing to manage a significant volume of cases in the field of creditors' rights.
  • Familiarity with resolving issues related to discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution is essential.
  • Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code are preferred.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership qualities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be eager to help enhance the firm's reputation as a top-performing practice.
  • A commitment to developing industry relationships and being viewed as a trusted partner and advisor by clients and colleagues is essential.
  • The role requires court appearances, with some travel necessary.
  • Familiarity with the Missouri legal system is important, along with a commitment to superior client support, confidence, and sound judgment.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required; additional Bar licenses are a plus.
