Job description

Product Owner – 100% Remote (Canada)

Are you ready to leave your mark?

Imagine being part of a team that isn’t just about deadlines and KPIs—but about purpose. We’re on a mission to transform the nonprofit sector through innovative event solutions that create real, meaningful change. If you’ve got a passion for tech, agile delivery, and making an impact, you’re in the right place.
We believe in more than just what we do—we believe in why we do it. And if that resonates with you, then you might just be the missing piece we’re looking for. Culture fit isn’t just important here; it’s everything.

The role
As Product Owner, you won’t just be managing a backlog. You’ll be the compass that steers our projects, ensuring every sprint, every feature, and every deadline aligns with something bigger: helping nonprofits thrive. You’ll be the bridge between vision and execution, balancing business needs, user experience, and delivering value that extends far beyond the screen.

What you’ll own

Product backlog ownership & prioritization

  • You won’t just own the backlog—you’ll be its heartbeat, ensuring it’s aligned with client needs, business goals, and mission-driven impact.
  • Prioritize with precision: tackle the biggest challenges that will make the most difference, with a constant eye on value delivery.
  • Communicate risks, trade-offs, and solutions clearly to stakeholders to keep everything on track.

Sprint execution & agile delivery

  • Lead sprints like a conductor leading an orchestra—coordinating efforts, eliminating roadblocks, and ensuring the team stays in harmony.
  • Collaborate with UX and QA to ensure seamless user experience and quality at every touchpoint.

Collaboration & stakeholder management

  • Be the link that ensures everyone—from business stakeholders to the dev team—is aligned and moving toward the same mission.
  • After every release, ensure stakeholders see the impact of the work, not just the features.

Operational & release management

  • Own the release process from end to end, ensuring smooth deployments and making sure everything stays stable post-launch.
  • Manage operational tickets efficiently to maintain system integrity and user satisfaction.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Experience: You’ve spent 3+ years leading teams as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, ideally in the nonprofit or event tech space.
  • Agile expertise: You’ve lived and breathed Scrum, and experience with SAFe is a major asset.
  • Clear communicator: You know how to break down complex ideas and communicate them simply, whether in person or via a screen.
  • Heart for Nonprofits: You’re not just in it for the tech—you’re in it for the mission. You understand what it takes to make a nonprofit thrive.
  • Problem-solver: Obstacles are just opportunities to find better solutions. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can think on your feet.
  • Cultural fit: You’re not just looking for a job; you’re looking for a team that shares your values of growth, authenticity, and collaboration. You thrive in a place where everyone has each other’s back.

Benefits

Why you’ll love it here

  • Purpose over profit: Your work won’t just be about features—it’ll be about impact. You’ll help nonprofits create events that move their missions forward.
  • A team that has your back: Collaboration isn’t just a buzzword here. We support each other like family—because we know that’s how we grow together.
  • Mission-driven work: Every project you take on will be a chance to contribute to something bigger than yourself. The work you do here will create a ripple effect of positive change.
  • A place to grow: We’re committed to helping you push your skills and expand your potential. You won’t just grow professionally—you’ll grow personally as part of a team that’s passionate about change.

Why this role is for You
This role isn’t for everyone. It’s for the person who thrives on autonomy and accountability, but also understands the value of being part of a supportive team. It’s for someone who wants to make a real impact, not just punch a clock. If you want to contribute to something that’s meaningful, mission-driven, and people-first, then we need to talk.
We’re not your typical company—and that’s what makes us stand out. If you’re ready to bring your expertise and heart to a place where your work truly matters, we want you on our team.
