More about the role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Production & Material Planner in Egypt with Signify.
- This role is responsible for executing component ordering in line with component demand pan / factory
requirements while optimizing for his/her Purchasing group on hand component inventory to assigned inventory
- Follow up with suppliersforecast inclusive of confirmation to ensure timely capacity reservations
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions on delivery reliability of suppliers - GSRS, lead times (including
reduction), order (re-)confirmations to improve component availability
- Actively drive health of component inventory up by regularly updating/analysing componentstocking strategy
SAP parameter and logistics views maintenance
- Responsible for Procurement of all components attached to the respective Purchasing Group zz and MRP
controller in the respective factory
- Ensuring the availability of the components necessary to complete customer orders in accordance with established
LT and maintain continuity of production
- Issue orders for components and control of their execution
- Taking improvement actions in order to ensure the reliability of confirmations of orders and timely deliveries
- Forecasting,sending the demand to suppliers suppliers and receive forecast confirmation
- Maintenance and componentsinventory control according to the established limits/safety stock parameters
- Preparing logistics contracts
- The execute actions to minimize slow moving and obsoletes costs
- Participation in the phase in / phase out of the components
- Preparing and presenting reports of missing components and threats in a timely supply of components
- Completing and updating logistics data in SAP in the activities entrusted to
- Acquisition and use of information about the suppliers holidays, scheduled downtime to prevent delays in the
execution of production orders
- Evaluation of suppliers in terms of timeliness and quantity of supplies in the GSRS.
- Informing about the risks in timely execution of orders
- Knowledge and compliance with the regulations of the Labour Code, Labour Regulations and orders in force in the
- Continuous improvement work in their area of operation;
- Knowledge and compliance with obligations under the Philips Supply Chain Security System
- Maintaining and updating of documents resulting from the Company adopted the model of quality assurance to
ISO 9001 and 14001 and 18001 CRF in its area of operation

- Knowledge and experience of Procurement (3 years min.)
- Batchelor degree in Industrial Engineering/Business Administration
- Experience of product transfers between different production locations
- English (businessfluent)
- Experience in SAP ERP system
- Leadership & team management experience
- Work experience in multinational environment
- Experience in Supplier and Customer Management
- Knowledge and experience in LEAN manufacturing in a large,fast-paced manufacturing facility
