Experience: 2.5+ years in enterprise SaaS sales or business development role. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages. Tech Proficiency: High competency with CRM tools, sales enablement platforms and prospecting tools. Organized and Goal-Oriented: Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks while meeting or exceeding KPIs. Curiosity and Learning: A growth mindset with the willingness to learn about workplace health challenges and regulatory landscapes. Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude in a high-volume outbound sales environment.
Core responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Collaborate with the CCO and marketing to identify potential customers in our ideal customer profile (ICP) industries (e.g. mining, construction, transport, government) using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot. Account Research: Understand target accounts, including their workplace health needs, pain points, and organizational structure, to craft tailored outreach strategies. Outbound Prospecting: Conduct outreach to key decision-makers through cold calls, personalized emails, and social selling, articulating how our platform addresses workplace health challenges. Inbound Lead Qualification: Quickly engage with and qualify leads from inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with our ICP. Lead Nurture: Build and maintain relationships with prospects that are not ready to buy through tailored, value-driven communication. Develop personalized email sequences, phone touchpoints, and content sharing strategies based on lead behavior and interests. Content Delivery: Collaborate with marketing to deliver educational content, such as case studies, whitepapers, or industry reports, to nurture prospects over time. Share insights and updates about workplace health trends, regulations, and best practices. Meeting Scheduling: Secure and participate in discovery calls, product demos, and introductory meetings for the sales team with qualified prospects. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and progress in HubSpot. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings in the occupational health and SaaS space.
