Mongolian-Speaking Translator - Mongolia

The Role:

As a translator, you will play a pivotal role in adopting, translating and localizing online content for multiple company brand websites, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency with brand guidelines.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
  • Under the direct coordination of the Content Marketing Localization team, you will be responsible to translate, localize and proofread English to Mongolian content, including multiple websites, landing pages, country-specific promotions, client communications, social media, paid advertising, visual materials (both online and offline), mobile app content, forex articles, and client registration/onboarding workflows
  • Apply a deep cultural understanding of adapting translated content to the local Mongolian market in order to ensure it is aligned in terms of accuracy, tone, style, technical/financial terminology, and user intent
  • Maintain rigorous quality control and time management to deliver high-quality results, including solid SEO (search engine optimization) best practices

  • Main requirements:
  • Degree in translation, linguistics, language studies or a translation certificate
  • At least 3 years of experience as a translator
  • Experience in the financial services industry would be a plus
  • Native Mongolian speaker with excellent oral and written skills in English
  • Solid knowledge of handling HTML content
  • Experience with a localization software, including TMS (Translation Management System)
