Job description

The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the country tackling some of our nation’s most pressing challenges. Throughout your internship with a partner organization, Stand Together Fellowships hosts virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET, wherein you will be mentored by seasoned professionals as you craft a capstone project on the topic that matters most to you.  Interns will receive either a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (28 hours/week).

About FEE’s Operations Team:
The Operations (Ops) team is the central hub that coordinates several key areas at FEE including finance and accounting, human resources, infrastructure and systems, and marketing and analytics. By overseeing and integrating these diverse functions, Ops ensures that every part of FEE is aligned, efficient, and equipped to support our growth and mission.

In addition, Ops goes beyond mere operational management—it also plays a critical role in shaping a positive, productive culture where each individual is empowered to find their place and thrive. By fostering alignment with FEE's mission and creating an environment where purpose and growth are central, Ops ensures that every team member is positioned for success. Through streamlined processes, resource optimization, and cross-departmental
collaboration, Ops ensures that FEE remains efficient, adaptable, and deeply connected to its culture.

This role is open to in person (Atlanta, GA) or remote work.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and streamlining processes to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify operational areas for improvement, offering insightful recommendations for enhancement.
  • Provide vital administrative support to the operations team, including data entry, file organization, and document management.
  • Help contribute to the development and implementation of innovative operational initiatives aimed at optimizing organizational effectiveness.
  • Monitor LinkedIn daily and draft engaging content for monthly LinkedIn posts.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating FEE’s monthly internal newsletter.
