We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Strategic analyst with digital and IT strategy experience to join our growing management consulting team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and proactive strategic analyst who is comfortable leading strategic work-streams with direction and input from team leadership. Furthermore, ideal candidates should be experienced with the following domains: digital strategy, AI strategy, process analysis and improvement, IT decision support, post-merger integration planning, and strategic roadmap development.
Your work on a daily basis will include such activities as interviewing and/or interacting with clients and team members, conducting independent research, compiling and analyzing structured and unstructured data, drawing insights from a well-constructed analysis, identifying and evaluating options, developing frameworks and other methods to communicate ideas and findings, numerical analysis, creation of artifacts and deliverables, planning work-stream activities, managing against the plan, and staying organized.
This client-facing role sits at the crossroads of technology and business, requiring a collaborative and analytical approach along with a reasonable comfort engaging in technology and business-related discussions. This Strategy Associate role will work closely with other Allata practitioners across service lines and will interact with enterprise-class mid to senior level executives in the conduct of discovery and recommendations formation. Professional presence, poise, and communication skills are key to success.
Role & Responsibilities:Drive the shaping and application of analytical methods and frameworks in the conduct of strategic assessments, recommendations, and roadmaps in a collaborative fashion with your team and client. Take responsibility to proactively drive towards defined goals. Collect, synthesize, and interpret information in order to contribute to the recommendation of a path forward for our clients.Shape and develop outputs that convey a clear understanding of desired outcomes, current state operations and pain points, strategic context and value drivers, key imperatives and issues, options, prioritization criteria, strategic plans and roadmaps, and a relevant business case. Seek to understand, represent, and respond to the customer/user voice in all strategy and solutioning, subject to reasonable economics and market realities. Act as a high value contributor to Allata and joint Allata-Client teams, supporting alignment between strategy and/or solution development and the client’s broader business strategy. Contribute to the design and facilitation of workshops and working sessions to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Develop and deliver work-products and final deliverables with tight and compelling storylines supported by relevant and thoughtful analysis. Hard Skills - Must have:Experience in digital and IT strategy, including exposure to and knowledge of AI. Comfort discussing general business and technical concepts in the course of conducting project work. Experience with process analysis and improvement (can understand processes, document them, and suggest improvements).Strong primary research skills and a strength in active listening.Proficiency with analytical methods and spreadsheets. Ability to synthesize data into key messages and actionable insights. Comfort with developing and/or enhancing frameworks to convey a point or crystalize insights. Soft Skills / Business Specific Skills:Strong inter-personal presence and oral communication skills to facilitate executive interviewing and running working sessions.A critical thinking mindset with the ability to understand complex problems and think on your feet. Strong organizational and task management skills to plan and lead workstreams. Collaborative style with the ability to work across cross-functional teams. Previous experience in management consulting or a similar strategic role is highly desirable. Continuous lifelong learning orientation and an enthusiasm to drive self-development.
