Job description

On January 14th, 2025, InductiveHealth and Envision Technology Partners (“Envision”) completed an exciting transaction whereby InductiveHealth (and its private equity partner Diversis) acquired Envision. Envision is a Public Health software development and consulting firm. Since 2001, Envision has been offering an enterprise-level public health product suite as well as custom software development and consulting services to federal, state, and local government agencies around the country and across the globe.

We are currently seeking a Senior Accessibility Quality Assurance Engineer for our immunization information system software products to join our expanding national team with headquarters in Greenwood Village, CO. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, problem solving and software testing skills, thorough knowledge of accessibility testing, and a desire to help the world be a healthier place to live in, and a keen interest in public health technology. This is a contract-to-hire position where once you are converted into a permanent role, you’ll enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package (medical, dental, vision insurance, long term disability, group life, 401K, etc.), a casual work environment, and flexible PTO. This position reports to: Manager of Quality Assurance

What you'll be doing in this role:
  • Test new application features prior to deploying new versions or upgrades
  • Test updates to existing application functionality to address production issues
  • Execute regression tests on all releases
  • Perform testing for one or more Scrum Teams
  • Participate in Scrum Ceremonies such as backlog refinement, planning, daily standups, and retros
  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual tests based on acceptance criteria
  • Work with the development team to triage potential defects and then re-test those defects
  • Communicate risk to potential releases if you are not satisfied with quality
  • Collaborate (in both written and oral format) with Envision team members on peer test case reviews, ideas, designs, and bugs
  • Mentor QA Engineers in Quality Assurance best practices

  • What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent AND 6-12 years’ experience in the field or related area OR 8-14 years of experience in the field or related area in lieu of degree
  • 8+ years of experience in manual testing of Web Based software applications
  • 5+ years of experience using SQL to write queries to validate back-end data
  • 5+ years of testing reports (Crystal, Paginated, Power BI)
  • 8+ years of experience in test plan/test case creation, defect tracking, and metrics reporting
  • 3+ years of experience testing APIs
  • 3+ years of experience with 508/Accessibility testing and UX/Usability testing
  • Accessibility Certification
  • Familiar with and understands WCAG 2.1 Requirements
  • Automated testing of web applications
  • 2+ years of experience testing Azure Services
  • 5+ years of experience testing in an Agile environment
  • 1-5 years of experience mentoring QA Engineers
  • Proficient in testing systems at all levels, including UI, component, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression
  • Thorough understanding of testing best practices
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for creating tests, executing tests, and tracking defects
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Self-starter willing to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Be a champion for quality and influence team members to build quality in at the start
  • Actively investigate and recommend new tools, processes, and test approaches for improving the quality of software
  • Ability to produce high quality work in a timely fashion
  • Ability to quickly understand the existing systems and analyze the system impact of changes
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated to learn and keep up with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends

  • What will make you stand out?
  • Experience with Python, Selenium, Playwright, etc.
  • Certification from IAAP
  • Familiar with AXE Dev Tools, Wave, NVDA, JAWS
  • Load and Performance Testing
  • Experience testing web applications using mobile devices (Android, IOS)
  • Security Vulnerability Testing
  • Experience testing HL7
  • Experience with basic networking principles
  • Target Salary Bands: Each team member’s compensation decisions are based on several inputs, and we expect many of the candidates who are offered positions to fall within the advertised salary band. We recognize that the team member hired may be less (or more) experienced than the posted job description therefore impacting compensation decisions.

    Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience and qualifications.

    Physical Requirements
    Prolonged sitting; infrequent to occasional walking or standing. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment deemed necessary for the position. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds. Ability to work in a normal office environment.

    Envision Technology Partners’ standard business hours are from 8am to 5pm Mountain Time Monday through Friday, with the exception of the approved Federal Holidays. While staff may have an approved work schedule outside of this timeframe, it is expected that employees will be able to participate in business activities during these hours with the exception of approved leave (e.g., PTO, Holidays, etc.) It may be required occasionally as well for staff to participate in client-driven activities outside of the company’s standard business hours.
