We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced individual to join our team as a Sales Training Specialist. The Sales Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales team. This position requires strong training facilitation skills, a deep understanding of sales techniques, and a passion for driving sales excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver effective sales training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of the sales team.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop tailored training solutions to address those gaps.
  • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, training modules, and job aids, to support the delivery of sales training programs.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and role-plays to provide hands-on learning experiences and ensure comprehension of sales concepts and techniques.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and subject matter experts to ensure training content aligns with sales strategies and goals.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, sales methodologies, and best practices to continually enhance and update sales training curriculum.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback from participants and sales managers.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to sales representatives to reinforce training concepts and improve sales performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment between training initiatives and product/service offerings.
  • Stay updated with the latest sales tools and technologies and incorporate them into training programs to enhance sales productivity and effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a sales trainer or sales training specialist, with a strong background in sales techniques and methodologies.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, customer-centric selling, objection handling, and negotiation techniques.
  • Strong instructional design skills, with the ability to create engaging and interactive training materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical skills to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and measure training outcomes.
  • Proficiency in using sales training software, learning management systems (LMS), and other training tools.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with sales teams, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and sales best practices.
