Job description

Who are we?
Vehlo is on a mission to automate and accelerate the vehicle repair industry with software and payment solutions designed to help auto service teams acquire, service and retain lifelong customers. Our customers are auto repair and collision locations as well as new and used dealerships, where we provide management systems, payment services, communications tools, scheduling modules as well as accounting and finance packages. We operate in a high-growth, high-performance environment.

What will you work on?
 Gain a thorough understanding of each of our product suites; mostly web-based SaaS
 Collaborate with dev teams to ensure all features are tested extensively before release
 Design and implement test plans, communicate with dev teams, and track defects
 Propose best-practice testing methodologies
 Implement new processes, toolsets, and automation

What skills and experience are we looking for?
 Extensive experience testing web apps:
o gather requirements
o create basic test plans (i.e. strategy, entry/exit criteria, cases, etc)
o execute test cases under different conditions
o detect, log, report, and track issues and defects in JIRA
o excellent communication and interaction with dev teams
 Understanding of security (i.e. URL manipulation, session hijacking, injection, XSS)
 Familiarity with test automation and tools (i.e. puppeteer, Selenium)
 Working knowledge of scripting languages, databases, and SQL
 Basic understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
 Genuine curiosity and excellent problem-solving and documentation skills


Requirements
Job Requirements:
 5+ years of experience suggested
 Fully remote position, but you must be able to work at least 4 hours in US time zones
