Principal Delivery Manager (m/f/d) Munich, Berlin or Hamburg

In tech & product we have two main work streams:

• Heartbeat: Building a virtual power plant levering our energy manager “Heartbeat” and evolving the customer experience app around this 

• Operating System for installation companies: Digitisation of operations and processes from ground operations to rooftop installations 

At 1KOMMA5°, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Delivery Manager with a strong focus on process excellence to join our fast-paced team. You will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements, standardizing workflows, and maximizing efficiency across the development and product teams.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Shape the organization's process from idea to delivery

• Structure, organize and drive development projects & overarching initiatives

• Ensure maximized customer & user value along the customer journey

• Drive continuous process improvements by critically evaluating and optimizing existing workflows and implementing best practices.

• Make sure business requirements arrive in an understandable and structured way on the tech teams desks

• Internal (other teams & business units) and external (service providers & partners) stakeholder management 

• Provide leadership, guidance, and expertise across independent tech teams

• Build and shape a tech org and culture

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting complex technical challenges

• Coordination and framework building with key external partners

Technologies and Tools you will work with include:

• Notion

• Jira/Linear

• Miro

• Google Workspace

You have:

• Extensive (min 5 years) of experience driving software development organizations, IT projects and external development agencies 

• A proven track record of delivering projects with development organizations on time and in budget

• Experience in structuring agile development projects

• Extensive experience in leading a team of (technical) product owners and delivery managers

• An agile and result-oriented mindset, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork

• Expertise in talking with stakeholders in business terms and understanding the technical implications of their requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in German considered a plus
