The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for the management of the business relationship with existing clients and prospects and supports all steps of the sales and distribution cycle such as quoting, purchase order confirmation, product allocation, invoicing, products distribution and claim management of sales team for the US Division. This position aids customers in making informed purchase decisions and supports sales lead generation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides overall support of sales operations and purchase order execution / purchase order fulfillment with clients in our US Division.
  • Review and process client orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Provides timely follow-up to clients, especially when Regional Sales Managers are on the road and unavailable.
  • Interact with clients frequently in a clear and professional manner.
  • Create and track quotes within CSI CRM tools.
  • Provide clients with status of orders and confirm delivery schedules.
  • Partners with Regional Sales Managers to fulfill sales objectives by providing support and upselling CSI products and services.
  • Provide clients with technical and administrative product information and analysis.
  • Qualify new prospects and support the customer set-up process (credit line management and customer data documentation).
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve outstanding AR issues and client credit availability, taking into consideration existing orders.
  • Partners with order fulfillment and logistics to execute client orders successfully.
  • Remains in close communication with Regional Sales Managers to identify sales strategy with each account (pricing, terms, product, availability, etc.).
  • Assist with projects across sales and marketing as needed. Such as system enhanced process improvements or exhibition preparation/attendance

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must have 5-8 years of B2B sales support, account management, or client services experience
  • Solar Industry a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient with Salesforce (or similar CRM software)
  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint) (Proficiency with solar-specific software a plus)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, concisely and professionally
  • Results oriented, organized, highly motivated, and creative
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
